@npub1ytq…9rrp "Immigration clampdowns" should probably always be put in quotes, because they cannot be anything other than theatre. Any genuine clampdown would immediately put Amazon and Walmart out of business, just for starters. The construction industry, already teetering, would collapse over night. I would imagine some successful union drives would start happening too.
I mean some highly visible performative cruelty is definitely going to happen. But clampdowns? I don't think so...
