Meanwhile, if you do pay to upgrade from basic to pro, they let you keep your basic until your pro arrives and then send it back. I think that’s pretty generous.

Yes, I am impressed as well, impressed enough that I ordered one. :-) And of course now some people are complaining because they want to be able to update to pro over the air, and some people don’t like that the pro doesn’t have better hardware, and blah blah blah blah blah. Honestly, if all people ever look for in life or faults, that’s all they will ever find.

Here’s the thing guys, yes, a lot of us paid for Voice Dream reader 12 years ago, but that was 12 years ago. Do you really expect that money to be able to sustain future development? Lots of things are moving to subscriptions for a reason. It’s the only way to bring in enough money to sustain future development.

I don’t know if this helps, but when I went to check out, Apple Pay was an option, and I had the option to either pay in full, or pay later, which I think breaks it up into a certain number of weekly payments.

Someone who looks and sounds a lot like me may have gotten impatient and ordered the BT Speak Pro before my Mac sold. I don’t know who would’ve done such a thing. Lol.
