If anybody is curious about the Canadian Dental Plan. 🦷 I just went to the dentist for the first time using it and paid $45 for my $309 dental bill. CDP will reimburse my dentist $264 and the item with the least coverage was polishing which they only covered $8.75 out of the $29 charge. It equals out to about 85% total coverage which is better than what I’ve had with previous health plans so I really can’t complain.

This wasn’t a police matter until a Reddit thread went viral. Video and audio proof of multiple hate acts and the police wouldn’t do anything about it. Our neighborhood’s city councillor was quick to get involved on the thread and offer to escalate and finally it’s a police matter 🙄

The Liberals are going after corporations & people who profit off them. Currently, only 50% of a capital gain is taxable. Made $100,000 profit on a stock you sold? Only 50% of that, $50,000 is subject to tax. The other half.. not taxable.
Starting in June (if adopted) the amount that is tax applicable rises to 2/3 for capital gains above $250,000 for individuals & any amount for trusts & corporations.
This is a big move. One that is sure to piss some rich people off.
