The Carpentries community in Australia and Aotearoa will be hosting their first AU-Aotearoa CarpentryConnect on 23 May 2024, in person and hybridly in Melbourne, Perth, Dunedin and Auckland. Everyone in the Carpentries global community is invited to join and participate!
Proposal submissions close on 22 April.
The goal is to bring The Carpentries community together to explore and discuss community-led software and data skills training, and capacity building initiatives: https://carpentries.org/blog/2024/04/eoi-auz-nz-carpentryconnect/

Last year we released a statement in which we said we will continue “to monitor changes at Twitter in conjunction with internal discussions about whether our presence on the platform will continue.”
We now announce that as of today, 20 October 2023, all our #socialmedia engagements will be from this Mastodon account, as well as LinkedIn and YouTube, and none from our 5 #Twitter / X accounts.
