This is the only social network I post on. I squat my Twitter account because it is ancient and I don't want anyone else acting in my name. I keep a read-only Bluesky account to monitor people I care about who moved there. I won't touch anything from Meta.
All that said, it's very curious to me how the outside perception of Mastodon in no way aligns with my experience. I think it's because I live mainly on dice.camp local and y'all are lovely folks that I like reading.

There are countless TTRPGs based on heavy metal. Games inspired by hip-hop, glam rock, and folk music.
Where are the games inspired by the smooth soft rock of the 70s?

I'm in need of a recommendation for a notebook app. Some parameters:
* I am all-in on Apple's ecosystem; windows/linux/android-only solutions need not apply.
* I am happy to buy software but would prefer not to rent it.
* Multi-device sync is essential (desktop/mobile) but so is the ability to backup local files.
* Fancy markup isn't necessary but linking notes to each other would be very nice.
* Offline access is a must; no web-only solutions.
So what do y'all like?

Noodling on starting an RPG campaign based in a small town full of quirky NPCs and then "Monster of the Week: Letterkenny" popped into my head so I'm going to be giggling about that for the next day or so.

Stashbuster plaid, thanks to the power of plaidmaker.com - weaving in the ends of each color afterwards was a pain but the end result looks very nice; doubling back mid-weave would have added too much bulk. Next time, practice hemstitching instead of relying on the fringe. #weaving

Kicking off an interesting project this year. I am running a play-by-post #CourtofBlades campaign but trying to key it to real time; one errand per month, and each season in its time. The players include people I used to play on MUSHes with literally decades ago, and some I haven't played with at all. To say I am a-titter with anticipation is to sell it massively short.
