@npub1hd7…spxx I love the concept, but IMHO it's a dangerous suggestion without an important caveat: you need to also write good APIs that direct callers to do the right thing. I've worked with several engineers who preach this advice, but also write bad APIs that don't guide users in any way, crashing when callers make the wrong assumptions. Those crashes are simply called "traps".

#[0] #[1] Just like it's important to understand that LLMs don't "understand", I think it's important to recognize that OpenAI didn't make ChatGPT "public", they made it available to the public (customers).
Everyone wants a Jarvis, but Tony Stark made and owns Jarvis, so it does what *he* wants. The public doesn't own ChatGPT, and OpenAI and others, as for profit companies responsible to shareholders, have different incentives and goals than users.
