Bought the @npub1hyk…3p33 humble bundle (https://www.humblebundle.com/books/cory-doctorow-novel-collection-tor-books-books) calibre-converted to a format that my old-ass Kindle is conversant in and now I'm set for reading material for a couple weeks at least.
Good timing, as I just finished devouring my dead-tree copy of The Bezzle.

@npub1hyk…3p33 not sure if it came up, but my CU has a policy where they only time they will call _you_ is to tell you to call _them_ using the number on the back of your card. Anyone calling you and asking for information directly is a scammer.
This is a bit slower, unfortunately, but I think it helps a lot.

@npub1hyk…3p33 it seems to me that the browser-as-app-execution environment is the model the puts users first. Give me my choice of web-standards-compliant browser, configurable by me, and send me your web-app to run exactly as I see fit. Then we just have to look out for the Chrome-aggedon instead of being jerked around by individual app-shipping companies.
