Devastating blog post on just how much AI art generators are stealing directly from artists and shows. Loads of images showing 1:1 correspondences with the original art. And also shows how easily users can violate copyright by accident.
Really good read! Gives me hope that the legal system will find this just as appalling as I do.

I want to delete all my tweets before the new privacy policy takes effect on 29 September, but I get the impression that the bulk deletion tools no longer work after Musk started charging the sky for the API. Does anyone know of tools that are still working?
Alternatively, I would settle for downloading all my bookmarks before deleting my Twitter account. But I'm running into similar problems with the tools.

@npub1psd…9sr7 Yes, authors on Bluesky are pointing out that the editor (a black woman) will have to deal with doxxing and death threats from white supremacists if F&SF retracts the acceptance, and that's not a choice anybody should have to make. And that the publisher who actually controls the money is just letting her take all the heat. What a heartbreaking situation.
