The Murray River at Tooleybuc, New South Wales, although of course the southern bank of the river (the left in my image) is the border with Victoria. My photo from 2014. I worked hard on the composition for this one. It's a peaceful scene which I really need today. Hard to believe this is Australia's largest river. Longest, anyway.

My photo from 2017. Bamboo window covering in tea house, Japanese Gardens, Cowra, New South Wales. During WW2 Cowra was the site of a prisoner of war camp. There was a mass escape with many casualties. This garden is a memorial.

My photos from the Hydro Hotel, Leeton, in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area.
The hotel was built around a century ago to house single men working on setting up the irrigation scheme to grown rice and fruit.
Hard to photograph as the windows face north (the sunny side for us in the southern hemisphere) and to get a decent perspective you would have to float over a two-storey stairwell void.

My photo of Weereewa / Lake George New South Wales, north east of Canberra.
This is a shallow lake that dries out during droughts. At the time of Australian federation in 1901 it was considered as a possible site for the new capital. In the end Canberra was chosen.
A former Federal treasurer complained about how much he hated the wind turbines on the far side.
One of my better images, I think because there is more light and shade contrast than usual. Or the lake is just very photogenic.
