I was USAF too, but I wasn't good at it, got in trouble once or twice for timeliness. Spent too much time playing Magic the Gathering with the communications nerds when I should have been sleeping, lol.

At least for appointments with fixed times, with social calls I am far more flexible on time, which annoys my partner to no end, she's like "what time are you going to meet your Mom" and I'll say "this afternoon" which is sufficient for me, but she wants a time like 2:45 or something and is stressed about being "late", but it's hard to be late for a social engagement unless you don't meet. I'll text when I'm leaving to make the time exact.

Yeah I don't like being 15m early unless there is a lot of uncertainty and I need time to look around to be in the right place, I like rolling in right on time (or even a little late) as close as I can so _I'm_ not waiting around for something to happen. I have a "wait and hurry up" policy, I'll relax until it's time to go, then a flurry of urgent activity once its go time. That always seemed to work well with my ADHD to reduce distractions.

Yeah, I feel like I really belong on a 26-hour day as I don't feel tired until after midnight-1am and need a full 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, so don't really want to get up until about 9a or so, I used to get to work at about 10a for many many years (flexible office schedule), and often am not fully productive until after 3p when people stop scheduling meetings and dropping in to chat ;-). Weekends I prefer to sleep in until 10a.
Anything before 8a is *early* to me.
