I love how people are like "I'm all about the security!" and store hundreds of contacts on their phone. I store the absolute minimum number of contacts of my phone as I can, because I don't ever want any apps slurping them up. Unless you share a lot of DNA with me -- and I mean, like, a lot -- I regret to inform you that you ain't ever gonna be in my phone contacts. And sometimes even then, no. Depends heavily on the relative and their opsec.

You don't want willy-nilly changes for whatevs reasons, but you also don't want total and complete us vs. them two party calcification. There is a middle ground here. They tried.
