Which is of course one of the things Distrokid upsells themselves with, the fact that they handle the licensing of cover songs for you (for an additional fee of course). Needless to say I am really disappointed, and just wanted to put this out there so others are aware that there are potential issues between Apple and Distrokid over the handling of cover songs.

Thanks so much Mikako, I appreciate the support & the feedback a lot. I found a niche for myself around 2018 when I retired, which is using electronic loops & then adding my own instrumental elements on top. The lyrics for In The End & Life Goes On are my own, based on my own experiences. I'm now collaborating with an old high school friend lyrically, which takes a lot of pressure off. He actually convinced me it was time to release these songs.

We love them both. They’re 19 months old now so they were both fairly well adjusted when we adopted them a month ago. The have some odd and quirky behaviour but they’re cats, so it’s just lots of patience, understanding and love.

Mars is jet black, so his eyes really stand out in the dark. Apollo is smokey grey, but his eyes are just as expressive in the dark.

Thanks Mikako, really appreciate it. Apollo and Mars are having outside issues at the moment, we want them in a harness and on a leash. Both are accepting of that now, but Apollo is really upset that Mars is going outside too. Not sure how we get them past that, but we're working on it.

I’ve got a feeling it’s all US based, because that’s where Distrokid is located. Hopefully I can get artist accounts setup on these services soon and I’ll see what I can do to rectify this going forward. It’s supposed to be available for sale on August 26th, hopefully that will be worldwide.

Update on my Ladder Logic album release. I’ve obtained the license to cover Free Fallin’. So my release date of August 26th is solid. The album has now been sent to all Distrokid’s distribution networks and will be available for pre-order August 19th.
