I really don't like making call out posts pero since alam ko rin eto yung usual norm din now (rather than this being the exception), this would be one of the ways I exercise raising awareness on providing proper infrastructure for people on bikes to park their mobility vehicles in provided spaces by establishments.

McDonald's Pioneer cor. Reliance branch just recently renovated, and happy ako na nandun pa rin yung bike parking. (usually nawawala magically eh lol)
#MayBikeParkingBa? meron, pero may ibang gumagamit.
Not happy na motorcycles were allowed to park here. Asked the branch manager about it and they supposedly were on it, but had to leave na. Not sure if they kept their word, but 🤷🏻‍♀️
Buti nga dumami yung bicycle parking, 4 racks na siya instead of dati 2 lang. We have a long way to go talaga.

Design Pay Asia has opened up this year’s Design Pay Asia salary and report survey (link here), and I do hope we get more representation in the survey in other Southeast Asian countries so we can get a better overview of the design landscape in the ASEAN region 😁 The form closes on November 3 to make it in time for the end of the year (most likely to analyze and prepare the report)!

Obsidian pro-tip (and note to self): when embedding blocks from other notes, make sure there is an empty line before AND after your block notation.

So far, since getting my trifold bike, I haven’t booked an Angkas or JoyRide (motor taxi) to go to places by myself.
I’ve yet to see how I manage this when going out in evenings, though. One of the reasons why I opted for mototaxis instead of biking somewhere was time + activities I’ll do there (potentially drinking). 🤔
So far I don’t drink to get drunk though, just to enjoy a glass/bottle or two 😆 and I’ve even gone out late night with the bike, but so far only within 5~7(?) km.
