Hey team #python. I'm looking for some feedback / practical experience from you all.
Hetzner Cloud

Who’s using it? How reliable is it in the US? Been at Digital Ocean since forever. Now that Hetzner is in the US, I can get double the server for 1/3th (!) the price.
Is it all sunshine and rainbows or are the reasons to stay away?

Ok #python people. I haven't paid attention to Java for a long time. Did they add something like @properties from Python or C#'s get{} set{} properties since I last looked? Searching for this seems harder than it should be.

@npub1pfe…e2dm True. Just don’t promise the second round of folks hotel discounts. They could find them *somewhere* in Pittsburgh even if they had to transit there. That could be a bonus of early bird registrants. :)

#PyCon2024 had 2,551 in-person attendees and was "sold out”
#PyCon2019 had 3,393 (Checked-in people).
Anyone know why the tickets were restricted to 1,234 fewer in 2024? The venue seemed massive so should have had room.
I'm genuinely curious what the difference was. 48% more seats in 2019 is a big difference.
