Anbernic RG Cube is live and $10 off for the time being. I think it’s still like $30-40 too expensive, but being able to handle 3DS / PS2 / Gamecube is the big plus here. If anything, I find it more encouraging in regards to the handhelds we might get later in the year in terms of price-to-performance.

been pleasantly surprised by star wars hunters so far. i was expecting it to be “star wars overwatch” but it’s basically just a hero-based team deathmatch with extremely short matches. keeps the whole experience breezy.
haven’t tried the touch controls though, i’m playing on ipad with an external controller.

the one tiny content trend that bugs me the most is when a review is framed as an "honest" review, as if everyone else is being deceitful in some way.
that one word sets a tone that is disparaging of their peers who are doing the same work and frames themselves as "the one source of truth" when — in many cases — an audience should be consulting a number of reviews before making a decision.

Balatro, out tomorrow on all platforms, is the best deckbuilding roguelike I've played since Slay the Spire. The other day I literally played it until my Switch ran out of battery, which I have NEVER done in the seven years of the Switch existing. I made a video showing off a pretty basic run!
