I love the idea of using the ⁂ as a symbol for the Fediverse. Though my biggest issue with it is that at this scale it appears to be three dots rather than three asterisks.
Also, using CTRL + Backspace will not only delete the ⁂ symbol, but also the word before it. My expected functionality would be to delete just the one character (and perhaps any preceding white space).

Can someone explain to me why websites like Geico, Turbotax, and Dun & Bradstreet have such insanely long load times with multiple redirects and HTTP requests to load a single page?

So apparently YouTube is working on injecting ads directly into the video stream.
I actually think this is a neat idea as it will mean that YouTube has a greater financial incentive to move users to Premium.
Injecting ads into the video stream = more money/compute time per view = paying customers cost them less
Also, this should theoretically be better for privacy.
However, knowing Google, they'll mess it up big time. 🙄

What if you're a contract worker who is given proprietary or confidential information and you agree to Adobe's new "AI gets to train on my projects" TOS?
YOU don't have the right to sublicense or transfer that info to Adobe? Talk about a legal minefield. I can't believe Adobe would add this to their TOS. I hope this blows up in their face in a catastrophic way.
Their apps are literal trash anyway. Nothing of value would be lost if they went out of business.

@npub1q6e…yyzk we absolutely have drones with similar dexterity to humans. We also have microsurgery robots that are far more capable than a human. And there are haptics and resistive motors that would work.
