On my lunch break on #electionday and the first time working the polls!
It was only a few short months ago when I saw @npub178r…qekt post about working the election to understand #electionintegrity better.
No great, deep takeaways so far, except to note that as you might expect, no one is interested in how people are voting, and workers are far more concerned about efficiency -- getting people in and out, voted as quickly as possible.

@npub1rnj…vtmy @npub1tne…n2sp I don't know if you noticed that your posts went from talking about how Mozilla could find alternate revenue streams to complaining about how Mozilla is mismanaging the funds that they already have (pre-diversification).
Can you see how it would be challenging to convince people that they should give Mozilla money?

I think Brave Search is a nice idea, and who knows, maybe it works for them. I remember when Mozilla partnered with the company that it used to be (Cliqz) and people went ballistic.

Nothing is stopping people from *directly* funding Firefox either, but no one has taken up that banner yet.

I'm a moderator on r/firefox, which has gone dark as part of the protests against #reddit. I'm probably not coming back, no matter what reddit does with third party apps (my own issue with reddit revolves around #llm applications of the reddit corpus).
I have gone ahead and created a new #firefox community on fedia.io - https://fedia.io/m/firefox
