Question for the hardware experts: my wife has a mid-range gaming desktop PC ($1300ish a couple years ago). Today we discovered that when she turns it on, it NOTICEABLY heats up the whole apartment. By several degrees. We live in Texas. Short of extreme scenarios like not playing video games all summer or buying a new rig, is there ANY way to reduce or control the heat on that thing so we don't roast the entire damn home?

This is the second study I've heard of confirming what I've long suspected for years. I explicitly remember this happening to me with the Hunter Biden laptop bullshit. Lest anyone forget how garbage Avast is, if you search "Avast URL Blocklist" literally the third hit is the actual, official city of Austin TX with an entire FAQ page dedicated to how to whitelist the city of Austin website from the Avast URL Blocklist.
That's right, this is such a frequent problem it's easier for them to make an FAQ page than to get and stay unblocked. Imagine being that bad at your only job - that is, properly identifying malicious things.
