Hi @nprofile…wct6, @nprofile…ry7v, in September werde ich die Panixerpasshütte anpeilen und frage mich was ich da extra mitbringen soll. Ich glaube ihr könntet damit Erfahrung haben.
Ich habe folgendes finden können: "Holz Geschirr und Pfannen vorhanden, Wasserquelle in der Nähe der Hütte."
Stimmt es, dass also in der Hütte gar kein Essen/Trinken vorhanden ist (ausser also die Wasserquelle)? Wisst ihr das vielleicht? Danke!

@nprofile…g5gx years ago, as part of a puzzle ski tour in the ski area, the participants had to find a buried treasure (with a transceiver in it) during the end-game. I know how I was struggling to get the receiver working (no experience) and there was a clock ticking... 😅

As there is no algorithm, whenever people register on the Fediverse, their timeline is empty. With social media this is uncommon and therefore somewhat confusing to newcomers.
@nprofile…yarx has created a site 🙏 , where people can create Starter Packs. These are typically theme-based and gives a head-start at finding content.
Today I have created the "Mountains Starter Pack" with interesting accounts on the topic of mountains, hiking and the like (by no means this should be considered a complete list).

It was a long time, since I hiked in Grindelwald for the last time. Although not as early as last hike, I will still the first on the trail to Bergrestaurant Bäregg. The cablecar was not running yet, so most of the people were not on the mountain yet.
Reason for this hike was the news article of last week about the first hut of the Swiss Alpine Club and that triggered my curiosity. Had to see for myself where it stood. Will spend another post on that later.
The hike brought me to beautiful vistas on the Fiescherhorn and the west wall of the Eiger. A nice train ride brought me home again.
