Not to justify the killing of inocence, but if only the cops have guns, and (assault weapons at that) how can you have a revolution?
Armed conflict is inevitable, and no revolution ever happened without violence. I refuse to think that only allowing oppressive forces to have guns produces any future I want to live in.
My most positive of hopes and dreams is that people see what is possible and are eventually changed by it, but that sadly isn't the reality.
People Do* want to kill you for X reason, or at the very least will support systems that do

@npub19fc…ay3c prime time is a feature of broadcast television, but I can see an attempt to curate collections of content by times of day (I don't like this idea at all, but there it is)
They already use a seasonal release schedule. Summer is generally bad for domestic streaming releases because people don't want to be stuck inside watching TV.
The asynchronous nature makes it also hard, because now shows don't even have to be new, making it hard to market newer things considering now everyone has an endless watchlist backlog..

@npub1j29…uvms Agreed. I really dislike that this is the way anyone wants to squander a chance at something different and better. I think if we wanted the fediverse to flourish to something bigger as a philosophy and way we build the internet, we will have to get younger people here. Trying to pull professionals over here isn't going to work because they want their pprofessional contacts. The fediverse has to seem like Tumblr.

Does anyone have any pointers for shipping prints? I have 11X17s and looking for a way to ship them out without damaging them, maybe a bubble mailer with the print sandwiched between 2 pieces of heavy stock cardboard?
