Hey people: one thing you can do is to vote in your local elections, you know, the ones you always kind of thought didn’t matter. They matter. In many places, they matter more than national elections. There are bigots on every local ballot, & they’re taking over your townships & your school boards to ban books & erase the history of racism & push people—especially kids—back into closets. One of the comments on this @npub16t9…t04y post wishes for Markdown support and I do think it’s kind of weird that @npub1eee…e209 has the pull to fill a stage with Apple execs every year but they won’t give us Markdown support that they could make totally invisible to anyone who doesn’t flip a switch in Settings/Notes.
