They do send lots of longtime unemployed people to meetings with companies to talk about how to get better at applying for jobs!
I tried it. It was a nice break from my depressing fault routines, but otherwise a complete waste of my time.
BUT
This way, they at least keep the employees of these companies employed!
"Yay....."
(I helped them fix their computers and their coffee machine instead. Which they said was awesome! Still weren't hiring me though...) 😅

Stopped drinking fanta long ago... Too synthetic. Solo is way better! Although, usually I go for urge or mountain dew...
Btw... With a Soda Stream, you can make your soda just the way you like it! 😁
(it's very addictive to always have it within reach, though)

I'm in favor of letting people get their buzz (mostly) how they choose
But...
Even one box in a day would be a stretch. If two becomes anywhere near a habit, then I strongly believe it's about time to have a chat with a doctor about it
It's good that you drank water and all that. But that doesn't make the issue go away. It's still a huge amount of poisonous solvent flushing thru a liver that was never designed for it in the first place.
There are safer stuff out there!

I feel so bad for people ending up in those situations... And as you mention; The setting doesn't always make it possible to do something about it there and then, no matter how much you wish to fix it.
...which also means that the person who was already "lonely" for all sorts of different reasons, gets to be just as lonely, only now there are spectators...
