I’m seeing a lot of bad takes from #bitcoin ers who haven’t done their proof of work on #gamestop
#GME holders are precoiners. They are taking self custody of their shares through #DRS and trying to expose the fraud.
The opportunity will be ripe for them to protect their profits in something other than US Dollars and #Bitcoin will be waiting for them.

It means admitting your understanding of the world and money has been wrong, which is emotionally painful for most, (all learning involves the pain of being wrong), and also knowing they had heard about bitcoin years ago but didn’t do the work to understand it means there is pain of lost opportunity and that’s a hard thing to accept. Nah man - have you actually tried VR? For me, someone who lives on the other side of the world from my family, telepresence (the feeling of being in the same room as someone) is immensely valuable. Just started working on an app to help train my brain to start thinking in terms of sats.
A pet peeve of mine is when I see people talking about their bitcoin stack in terms of dollars. But I can’t blame them, it’s deeply ingrained in us to think in terms of dollars and I want to help change that.
I want more people, at a glance, to be able to feel/sense/intuit about how much economic energy 10k sats is. Or to be able to estimate off the top of their head with ease how much a car, or hamburger or house might be in terms of sats.
So far the app just lets you import any other assets you own (stocks, house, etc) and prices them in terms of sats and tracks their value over time.
But I’d ideally love a feature like google translate’s augmented reality, where you could use the camera to look a menu price (in usd) and have it automatically translated to sats on your screen.
I’m thinking of calling it SatSight. If you have suggestions I’d love to hear em
