Nice video. I once hear le an “anti” Bitcoin comment that, even at the time, made sense and stuck with me as a positive feature. Something like -“Bitcoin is not so much banking the unbanked as it is un-banking the banked”. Now I hope it does the former - but in many countries the later offers the paradigm shift.

Greetings. I’m new to NOSTR but found you through a common education portal of sorts (My First Bitcoin). I have wondered something similar as well. I have searched docs, videos, and other tutorials and not found an answer. Along with your issue I find that many people I “follow” immediately or shortly switch back to unfollow. Very confusing. I don’t want to keep following people if they are rejecting my follow unbeknownst to me. I’ve followed maybe 40 or so popular accounts only to find that I am not following them.

Hi there. I’m a teacher at a community college here in San Antinio. I started a student Bitcoin group a few months ago at my school. I was looking for activities and teaching resources and came across a great educational organization from El Salvador- Mi Primer Bitcoin - not through NOSTR but, resulting from their help and advice, found this platform. I’m here looking forward to getting to know others in the space and hopefully work with groups with shared - educational interests.

My name is Matt and I represent BLOCKS (Bitcoin Learning Outreach Creating Knowledgeable Students).
About me. - I teach Business Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Management, and Logistics, full time at a local community college here in San Antonio. I became interested in Bitcoin relatively recently (late 2022). After almost two years of increasingly intense study and interest I began a “Bitcoin Club” at my school last August using the same name as here (BLOCKS). As the advisor of a new, emerging, student club, I was puzzling over and struggling with putting together as many activities and instructional materials I could find when I came across “Mi Primer Bitcoin” (English version) and was amazed at the quality of available educational resources and network of like-minded groups and individuals Mi Primer Bitcoin offers. I reached out, applied, and was accepted very recently as a “light node” for the organization. One of the resources/communication channels recommended by the group is NOSTR so here I begin. My hope is that, in large part because of numerous personal and professional contacts related to my job, I can help my students, my school, the Alamo community, (and eventually beyond) learn about and appreciate the amazing gift Satoshi Nakamoto gave to the world not so many years ago. I look forward to expanding knowledge, establishing contacts, and collaborating with others here on this platform (I am brand new to NOSTR and all things related to the protocol but will try to get up to speed quickly).
