fascinating. Node.js 12 is pretty out of date but you can use Eleventy 1.x for Node 12 compatibility! https://v1-0-2.11ty.dev/

a few corrections: we have an official feed plugin (though currently poorly named): https://www.11ty.dev/docs/plugins/rss/
I suppose I don’t think sitemaps are complex enough to warrant a plugin: it’s easily solved by collections and a template. But I’m happy to add one if folks want it.

thank you! In the mean time you can use `NODE_DISABLE_COLORS=1` environment variable to disable colors. e.g. `NODE_DISABLE_COLORS=1 npx @11ty/eleventy`

what operating system/terminal are you using? Maybe I can adjust the color contrast there—I agree that is unreadable!
