Romulans are the most difficult challenge for Picard because they're used to dealing with schemers like him every day on their own ships.
This is why Kirk has a Romulan bridge officer while Picard has a Klingon, instead of the other way around.

@npub1uz0…guyf The fiction writers played up the strain on the wielder of having one weapon with an agenda, while the games (esp. video games) are take a dozen cursed items, it's all good.

@npub1f5c…hqzn All I want for next x-mass is a scifi story where the heroine deduces that the self-replicating killer robots invading Earth are ad supported and defeats them by tricking them to make a call to their ad server which is long shut down because this is not a sustainable business model.
