Thanks my friend. Negative for both COVID and the flu, so that's definitely good news. Fever has gone down a bit, but she still feels horrible. Gonna monitor for a couple of days.
Also able to pick up the car in time, but WHAT. A. DAY!!!😵‍💫

And again, right on cue... daughter has been running a fever since yesterday. We kept her home from school—Monday 8:30 a.m. here🇯🇵—and will take her to a nearby clinic. Depending on how soon she can be seen & get tests, we might need to postpone picking up the car (see my recent "new car" toot). #PRIORITIES
I might add that several kids at her school have tested positive for #COVID recently... Hoping it's just a summer cold or early seasonal flu but not taking anything for granted.🙏🏿

TBH it's long overdue! Greedy companies have been engaging in similar false advertising tactics for decades, and it only got worse with pandemic #Shrinkflation. Companies have *used the pandemic to fraudently downsize packaging or raise prices, and in many cases to do both.

Picking up our new car tomorrow! 🙌🏿🚘🎀 I've been as sleepless as a kid counting down days 'til Xmas.
We ordered months ago and expected delivery in November due to backlog. Then right on cue, the A/C in our 10-year-old (otherwise reliable) car went out during #Hiroshima's hottest time of year — 35°C/95°F today🥵
Public transport is great in #Japan, but we live in an area where you "need" a car especially since our daughter has lots of after-school & weekend events. THANK GOODNESS Xmas came early!
