oh, I wasn't criticizing you! righto, she's paid the big bucks to notice. And ostensibly to be a fierce advocate for progressive values including a federal law ensuring reproductive rights. (In that sense the tiny half-assed "For" is quite fitting.sadly.)

if I knew somebody who was struggling and sad and also had an internet connection, I'd tell them, hey friend, join mastodon. just be honest and authentic as best you can, you don't need to reveal your whole life but just share what you're comfortable sharing.
and you'll meet lots of kind, cool, and interesting people doing likewise.
and you'll also learn how to cook and garden better. and lots of other things too.

thanks for sharing this. That study got so much press, and I'm sure it's valuable in many ways. but also has limitations and even flaws. Candor is always refreshing, and candor from experts even moreso.
The entire interview is great! I was especially struck by Dr. VanElzakker's comments ~min 4:30, starting with, "They reported evidence of antigenic stimulation in the immune system. Which to me is the take-home message that I wish people were amplifying..." [Dr. V goes on to describe why he feels that way.]

hi, I'm Anne and I love natural history of insects, like ants and butterflies.
Papilio is the genus of my favorite butterflies (the swallowtails). just learned Papilio also means butterfly in Latin!
if you haven't looked at the colors and patterns of butterfly wings recently, why not?
I interact sporadically if ever. but pls know I appreciate your words, your wisdom, and resources you volunteer.
