@npub1u3c…sqme My main problem with bird.makeup is technical. We were caching 1.7 _million_ bird.makeup accounts, several times more than even the largest Mastodon server, and yet only a fraction of a percent of our users actually followed anyone there. Since we are funded purely by donations from our users, was it really a best use of donated funds to pay for caching 1.7m avatars/headers etc.?
