@npub12td…65u5 Hopefully a large number of people will comment to you on this but the waterfall in not located in #Taipei #Taiwan China. Taiwan is not part of China (in the sense of the People's Republic of China). Taiwan is it's own country by every definition of the meaning of a country.

@npub1l3g…vu48 @npub1ykv…ey6z @npub1sua…szrk I knew nothing about windows before windows 3. What ever I did before that was DOS or a Z80 machine running Basic. Before '83 I was working at Boeing running IBM mainframe software (assembler, PL/1, COBOL, and Fortran) as well as C on Vax machines.

@npub1l3g…vu48 @npub1ykv…ey6z @npub1sua…szrk #Wine has been around since linux 2 or 3 (middle 90's.) It just never really worked that well. Maybe Microsoft hadn't opened up the relevant API's that much.

@npub1gl8…q5y9 I went to one of the largest wine stores in the Seattle area. Looked sort of like the store in the photo. Turns out their European wines (other than Bordeaux and Burgundy and Rhone) were almost non-existent. For example French chenin blanc wine was limited to 2 wineries in Vouvray and Cahors malbec was non-existent.

@npub1gl8…q5y9 Emidio Pepe is my touchstone for a restaurant's wine list. Have it and you earn 4 stars. Don't have it and you only can get to ordinary or good at best.
