@npub1fq5…p8du I assume they got a decent amount of cash from having their music feature on (tons of) soundtracks too.
I could think of a handful of examples off the top of my head, but a quick look on Wiki shows loads of films using them.

@npub1fq5…p8du Cake had some excellent songs spread across a load of generally solid albums.
It's just a shame their big hits tended to be their less interesting songs.
Prolonging the Magic is great - Cool Blue Reason is worth the price of admission on its own; Hem of your Garment is a banger; Mexico is a melancholic gem.
For my money I'd say Comfort Eagle's a stronger album (more coherent), and Fashion Nugget has "Frank Sinatra" on it - but PTM is great at the heart of that trilogy.
