@nprofile…chlg Matrix. And though i havent used it in a few years, Wire was pretty decent minus the notification issues on Android. And instead of Session, theres SimpleX, which is like session without the nonsense crypto backing.

@npub1532…5ffy Valve has kind of screwed me on tf2 since im on Manjaro im missing some key libraries to be able to play HL2 and TF2. Cant remember why I couldnt install them. AUR only i think. There was a work around where i copied files, but that stopped working too. iirc it affects most arch based distros by default (except steamos of course)

@npub1jeq…jglm i still dont care for anything Nintendo has made past N64. Including the Switch. In fact, i despise the Switch and Nintendo as a company. That being said, the "real gamer" line is bogus. Games are games. Have fun playing what you play.

@npub1jeq…jglm yeah to say that a single generation is best is certainly folly of rose colored glasses. I certainly have some fond memories from those consoles but also xbox 360 and snes and n64! To say one gen is the best is totally subjective. Personally ive taken to dislike ANY consoles now. Even my old stuff, i rather get the games on PC in an emulator. I do like the "backwards compatibility" that PC gives me with many older games. New games tend to have so many restrictions that im put off.

@npub1k8d…5h2l haha just tailoring the tool bars to suit my workflow. Adding the tools i use and hiding the ones i dont. Its nice that i can still pop up to the menu to get tools i dont use as often! The customization is very nice to have!

Does the pine time have any benefits if you dont enable bluetooth and have it connected to a phone? I know i wouldn't get notifications, but do other things work like heart rate, steps, clock etc, without being connected to the phone? periodic connections would be fine i just don't want to have Bluetooth on all the time.

When I first got into ham radio my elmer told me "most folks are nice, you can talk to just about anybody on here about anything, but if you run into a jerk who just wants to rile things up, all you gotta do is turn this knob here to the left and they go away just like that." Now that I've been on the radio for about 15 years ive learned that is absolutely true. And guess what, it applies to social media too. Dont engage with jerks who are trying to rile things up.

@npub1kpw…xzz4 I always found 10mm much smoother than .40 despite being similar sizes. I prefer 9mm personally, but 10mm is a really great round. plus all that 1911 to soak up the recoil helps a ton i bet. My experience between them was with Glocks.
