An Admin replied confirming the user was part of an experiment Reddit was running. Truly Reddit just no longer has any interest in being a positive discussion platform any more.

Hey @npub1094…2wum , I recall you mentioning #lemmy isn't a great idea. Have you put anything up on the website about #reddit , er, "alien site" equivalents in the #fediverse for the sake of those in exodus of alien site?
