After Tim Walz’s son was seen crying at the DNC, a lot of people were quick to point out that he has a few different disorders, as though that was a kind of excuse for him crying. And this is what’s so irritating. There is nothing wrong with men crying and being proud of their dad! And the fact that people feel the need to create an excuse for it is exactly why we end up with men bottling up their emotions in unhealthy ways.

I hear you. I mean, I'm almost suspicious of anyone who doesn't have things they had to learn and grow from. I'd rather have someone who made a mistake years ago and apologized and learned from it than someone who keeps gaslighting everyone to have them believe they're perfect.

I pretty much do a lot of the same. I think I just got lucky because I was referred by other people a few times and there were a few big migrations at the same time I think, so I picked up a lot of people from that.
This post is a bit tongue in cheek though since trying to get 7740 follows is a bit optimistic. I'm not Alice!

If everyone just asks 3 - 400 people to follow me, I think we can wrap this up pretty quickly.
Why should they follow me no one asked?
1) I have cookies. (You'll have to travel to me to get them though.)
2) Hot takes on things that happened in the 90s.
3) I often toot in the middle of the night, so you won't even be bothered by it.
4) My love of lists.
5) Other things.

This is what I was talking about in a previous post. An interesting quiz about our different types of communication style by generation. I might argue that some of these are personality-type driven, thinking about DiSC Styles, and that some people, regardless of generation, will tend to be briefer or longer based on that style. But over all it's really interesting.

If you look up "snazzy" in a thesaurus, you get "jazzy" and "pizzazzy," and i just think more words should work this way.
