all my liquidity is held in reserve in my mutiny wallet. I understand it's so that they don't lose money in a high fee environment, but it means I can't send anything. lightning was supposed to be to save on fees, not be controlled by them haha

Thanks, I guessed that was the case. The wording on that page is a little confusing as it says 1% of balance will be held in reserve, and obviously its more like 90% for me.

@npub1az9…m8y8 @npub1l2v…ajft key rotation on nostr relies which client-side consistency (transferring followers etc to new key), if that becomes prevalent across most users, does it destroy the benefit of controlling your identity?
One of the cool things about nostr is I take my identity with me if I swap clients. Relying on clients to maintain my identity seems like afront to that, right? Or did I misunderstand?

The great thing is your in control here, if you don't like what you see, change who you follow. If you link a Bitcoin lightning address in your settings, people can send you sats directly if they like something you've posted. Have fun and stay a while 💜

Good take generally but don't agree on the signal point. I very much doubt it's malicious, I think it's a trade off they've consciously made.

Graphene is way better than expected. I switch from Calyx, which was also good, but this is actually (I think) more private for day to day, but easy to set up lower-privacy-higher-usability profiles. Very impressed!
