Apparently two of my GBA carts are not original, according to Analogue support. They work with my GBA Micro but not on the Pocket, which was annoying me to no end. If you look at the PCB, would you be able to spot them as counterfeit? I wouldn't.

Could you try reinstalling everything on a new nvme ssd?
Also, possibly open and replace thermal paste on the processor, and clean fans.
And maybe run memtester to see if the memory is working alright.

@npub17lg…9uux yes that's how we realised there was something wrong. One paw went limp all of a sudden and he was breathing in an unusual way. It was all very quick for him and did not suffer for long, that's my only solace. I wish you all the best for El Moggo.
