I use SilentNotes for Android and Windows. Seems to work well and can be synced to own ftp or a cloud host. It also has a to-do checklist. It's free and FOSS too.
According to privacy notes it doesn't share any data.

If anyone intends to clearly communicate about Climate Change they must use both Celcius and Fahrenheit when discussing it. Otherwise those in the U.S. won't fully grasp the issue since celcius is foreign to them.
Let's start using C/F in all of our communication to reach everyone.

i have seen some statistics that say up to 60% of homeless have been traumatized as children, 40%are from foster care, and 30% are vets. So our system is continuing to victimize and them criminalize people for their past.

Recently I have had conversations with many Gen Z'ers from different social circles about Climate Change. I was surprised that each of them said they and their peers never discuss Climate Change. Where are we failing on getting the issue and it's threat communicated to them?

I have always believed that if we intend on getting a message across to someone we must speak at their level. Climate change is a critical issue and using Fahrenheit is important so that those in the US understand the message. They also happen to be the biggest contributer to CC. In an ideal world they would understand Celcius but they don't.
So it would be advantageous to also use Fahrenheit .

someone had mentioned PopOS recently. I need to check it out. I ran Ubuntu years ago but would rather avoid a corporate version of linux and use an open source one. Also looking for a version that doesn't require too much technical knowledge to maintain it. Getting too old and lazy to oversee an OS. Just need something to run Gimp, Davinci Resolve and LibreOffice.

Why not get your own domain with hosting and use email through it? Then you have full control and don't have to worry about who's running it.
