I was one of the few people on the bus wearing a mask today. One of them was seated next to me. A bunch of folks got on at a stop and wound up standing in the aisle by me. A couple of them coughed. Now wondering it it was a microaggression.

BART fare gate screens used to show how much BART charged as well as your Clipper balance. Apparently with the new fare gates, we'll have to go elsewhere for that info, as they don't show. Hope you keep enough on your card for a transfer.

A useful use for AI might be to automatically block from my timeline Fediverse users with Unicode soup as their user ID. That is, a string of Hindi or Chinese would be fine as a user name, but a mix of mathematical symbols, heiroglyphics, and cuneiform would not.

Rode past a billboard claiming that Smart & Final has been around since 1871. Looked it up on Wikipedia only to discover that not only does one of its ancestors date back to 1871 but that Smart & Final was named after a Mr. Smart and a Mr. Final.
