this is why.
left unchecked, “moderate, well-meaning concerns” become “exclusions” and then “removals”.

The whole thing is awful and hurtful and doing real damage, but the new push to:
block LGBTQ+ editors from editing on LGBTQ+ topics
is playbook tactics to set up a ‘community’ which is able to control and shun queer topics.
Being queer does not introduce a conflict of interest in queer topics. It doesn’t make me unable to objectively edit.

Perhaps someone could/should point out to fr.wiki that the biographies of living people policy is a board resolution and “may not be circumvented, eroded, or ignored by […] local policies of any Wikimedia project.”
