I just released Sly, a local, open source photo editor.
I’ve been frustrated with commercial solutions and found the free alternatives too complex for my use case, so I decided to create my own.
This is the first version and a lot of things are still missing, but I would like for you to try it out so I can hear your thoughts on it.
The app is currently available for Linux and the web, with all major platforms coming soon.

Showtime, the video player I'm developing for #GNOME has entered Incubator and is available on the GNOME Nightly repo for testing :blobfoxflooftea:
I'm hoping for it to replace Totem (Videos) in GNOME 48 and I will publish it on Flathub soon.

I was sad to find a surprising lack of visual scripting apps for Linux. Apple's Shortcuts app is very powerful and can be incredibly useful. It's not like we don't have the technical ability to make something similar.
So I started working on one myself :blobfoxfloofcofe:

Fedora keeps 3 major releases of their OS updated at the same time. The in-development one, stable and one older version. Because of this, `dnf upgrade` won't automatically switch to a newer release. You will need to run `dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=40` and then `dnf system-upgrade reboot`.
