Quality of sources. It seemed to me that ChatGPT often accessed less reliable sources to respond to a question, such as questionsble news sources or websites. Perplexity, on the other hand, consistently accessed more reliable and reputable sources such as government websites, research foundations, and peer-reviewed literature. ✳️

Number of sources. Perplexity consistently cited and pulled from more sources when asked questioned. Where ChatGPT often only cited 2-3 sources at most, Perplexity often had 6 or more sources. ✳️

@npub19h3…kqdg NOPE! I definitely cannot code and I’m a heavy Obsidian user. Anything that involves code with Obsidian is really just copy and paste. I’ve learned over time how to modify some code snippets and stuff, but I’m not a coder at all. All self taught and really not even necessary. The plugin community is fantastic so most of the “coding” has been done by people much smarter than I.

I have been using #ObsidianMD now for a couple of years and generally like it. I love plaintext and the file portability and the extent to which I can do almost anything with the app. HOWEVER, I've been toying with the idea of migrating to just using #AppleNotes. I already use Notes for all my personal stuff (Obsidian is primarily work and research). Would be great to have it all in a single, mobile-friendly app. Has anyone made the move from Obsidian —> Apple Notes? Thoughts?

What are some good ways to share photos like on a non-professional portfolio site? I enjoy taking pictures with my iPhone and used to use Adobe Lightroom albums for this. But I gave up Lightroom for reasons and would love a way to share images that allows me to use my own personal domain and is easy to update on mobile. Bonus if I can add captions and descriptions of photos. #photography #mobilephotography #iphoneography

@npub1n42…g9yp Does Photomator have masking? That appears to be the one thing missing for me. Darkroom has it now but it’s still not as detailed at Lightroom.

So far #Darkroom is the lead replacement contender (trying if for a month) but curious if there’s other iPhone apps that people who do a lot of iPhone #photography use and like.

I am done with #Lightroom. I’ve used it for years but I’m tired of relying on yet another cloud storage service, I hate how I have to import and export photos from the app on my iPhone, and I don’t like their shady practices (a fee just to cancel my service!?! WTF!?!). So I’m looking for a new option, one that leverages my iCloud storage and doesn’t require me to import and export every photo I edit. And that won’t charge me if I want to cancel.

@npub1umm…ulrq Have you tried turning on safe mode to figure out whether it is actually a plugin that’s the issue? I’ve had themes cause weird issues too.
