EVERY website, service, etc that allows you to have a profile visible to others should have a prominent “View public profile” button so that you can quickly see what everyone else sees when they view your profile.
I’d even go so far as to say that you should have to approve the public view before changes that affect your public profile are saved.

Do you share covers with your partner?
We sleep in the same bed but have separate top sheets and blankets. When we travel, we either book 2 double beds (easy but not preferred) or feel like we have to impose on the staff to accommodate our setup. And it always feels weird. I feel like it’s one of @npub15ml…2w4s ‘s secret weird things. But I’m also surprised it’s not more common.

@npub1cme…w4rh @npub1na9…nagt I know progress takes time, but why are we holding Apple to a standard we don’t hold other products / manufacturers to?
Why can’t my electric screwdriver charge via usb-c?
I just bought a portable Bluetooth speaker and I made sure it charged via a usb-c connection- this really limited my choices.
I’m not say $150 is reasonable for a mug that keeps your coffee warm, but I’d be closer to buying one if the charging puck took usb-c.

@npub1tfx…n4hu @npub16kl…28vz courtesy of @npub1rky…0xq2 (probably using an Apple Translate API) all I did was select the text and choose translate. Pretty slick. And though I don’t speak German, it looked like a solid translation.
I would have added translation attribution but I was up against my 500 character limit.

2023: There is still a minimal chance that it will remain bearable if you immediately make a world revolution and then drastic redistribution on a global scale.

@npub1nd8…2zkd @npub1ahr…m294 we’ve had the idea of micropayments for a long time. But I’ve never seen a good implementation never mind any significant adoption.
I’d love to see a real effort to align authors’ and publishers’ needs with those of the reader. I’m happy to pay for quality journalism / writing.
