@npub1y22…cmzu I was sponsored by SigmaOS, but I do actually like it better. Arc is also great (much easier learning curve), but I had huge slowdown problems on my Apple Silicon Macs. I think it’s just Chromium’s fault, but it was getting really bad.

@npub1683…f0qg You did a fantastic job. I don’t know how it could be done better. That said, we still disagree on plug-and-charge. I think having a payment terminal is a must for those that wish not to trifle with it; however, as someone who lived with plug-and-charge for years and no longer have it, I miss it a lot. Imagine having to authenticate every time you plugged in at home. Many people only charge via DC.

Last week I said the Beats Studio Pro—headphones recently lauded by tech reviewers—were not actually very good at all. These statements were made before I realized how they would look with His Majesty, The Brown Zune. I now retract all criticisms and give my endorsement in full.

i hate shopping at kroger because their self-checkout stations never have scales that work and so it thinks you’re stealing and in order to scare you it plays back a video of you from above so you’ll stop stealing but i am not so i just get sad because it shows that on the top of your head you are balding and you’re self-conscious and you’re not a thief you are just 30 and you shouldn’t be balding this soon oh why oh why must it be so

Paying for water if it’s safe to drink is insanity. Several days in London and now a few in Paris and I’ve yet to feel less-than or rude for only ordering tap water to drink.
