I was a slave. I worked tirelessly in exchange for fiat money—a currency that bureaucrats can print without limit, slowly siphoning value from your savings and labor. In their view, taking a MINIMUM of 2% annually from you through inflation is considered a "healthy economy". But in reality, inflation is theft—a silent tax that keeps you perpetually in debt, even if you've never taken a loan.
On top of that, you're taxed endlessly on the money you've already earned. You're taxed on your income, taxed when you spend, and even taxed for simply working—all for the promise that the State will take care of you. A lie! Albert Camus once said: "The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion".
You feel something is wrong. It's like a puzzle you can't decode. They've done an excellent job of confusing your mind and enslaving you drop by drop, using the Overton window to normalize this theft. But deep down, you sense it—something is off.
Then, one day, you hear a word: #Bitcoin. At first, it feels intimidating, even unsettling. It speaks of "freedom", but not the shallow, permissive freedom they allow you to have. This is a freedom they cannot alter—a freedom beyond their reach. But the confusion they've sown works against you: "It's a scam," they say. "It’s just magic internet money. It has no real value. Stay with us; trust the system!"
But the human soul is inherently free, and they cannot extinguish that flame. You begin to go down the rabbit hole, slowly learning and understanding this new meaning of freedom and responsibility. And then, you see it—the chain that has bound you all along, tying you to a system designed to extract your autonomy and enslave your mind.
Now, you begin to feel powerful, because you're no longer blind. You see the Matrix for what it is. The system is vast and strong, but they cannot control your soul and mind unless you allow them to.
So, do your part: study Bitcoin and decentralized networks like #Nostr. Over time, you’ll discover more rabbit holes, each revealing new truths. With every step, you'll climb higher on the ladder of freedom, reclaiming what was always yours. Be free, my friend.
