An interesting documentary I watched. Although I'm not religious at all I enjoy history so found the story on John Bolton's research into how same-sex marriage had been observed in the past was fascinating. May have to read his final book (before his death from AIDS) someday.

Taking food photos is not my thing so you'll need to imagine my little bowl of bread pudding in both appearance and taste. I've actually never made it before. I normally only think about it when I see it on a menu or in a store deli or some such. Been quite awhile.
Considered my grandmother's recipe but it was too much guesswork so I found a recipe online that turns out to taste just as I remember it.
