New binaries have been released!
Grab them at https://www.fteqw.org/
Noteworthy changes:
- ogg vorbis music decoding should no longer cause severe performance issues on certain systems
- sounds no longer loop endlessly on certain entities using the OpenAL backend
- old demos that request a specific music track will now play the appropriate music track
- save game loading should now restore player camera angles
- some rendering quirks and race conditions have been fixed
- lots of other bug and crash fixes!
- lots of cleanup in the src tree since the git migration

Noteworthy changes:
cvar r_speeds 2 will display audio related mixer timings
cvar cl_shownet 3 is now more verbose
menu package manager now has search
sv_nqplayerphysics now has the ‘2’ setting, which will enable NQ player physics but force prediction (may make some mods play better over the net, others not)
new cvar: pm_bunnyfriction
scoreboard will now show AFK status
developers can now use TTF fonts that are aliased
Vulkan renderer now supports half rate shading, via the cvar r_halfrate
early work on officially supplying flatpaks
lots and lots of bugfixes!
