Every now and then I check to see if Satisfactory has actually shipped yet, so I can replay from the start once it's "done". And - it's a month away! v1.0 ships on September 10th. Woohoo!

Most US folks (I like to ask them, because I'm cruel) think the anthem is from the War of Independence. It absolutely is not.
It is from the war of 1812 (not the one against Napoleon). An absolutely stupid war where the US tried to invade Canada because they were miffed about them freeing slaves. The US not only got kicked back by the combined UK, Canada, native and ex-slave forces, the White House was set on fire. Why you'd celebrate that disaster of a war, I have no idea.

To be fair, Dreamcast used PowerVR, which was also alien tech. Though by that time they had a good triangle-based front end. You could still access the infinite-planes madness though. A lovely machine.

I never did figure out the link between the NV1 and the Saturn 3D chip. They clearly used extremely similar (and dead end) tech, but it's always been unclear what/if the link was.
