HOW is it possible that TfL got hacked on 1 Sept and still haven't got their systems back online, and are estimating it will take until the end of the year? The incompetence is unfathomable.

@npub1g0t…tvm4 I think you always need both carrot and stick, sooner or later. In London, we have had a lot of carrot here for a long time, so the ULEZ stick was necessary.

@npub1g0t…tvm4 I know you can't generally use technology to solve a social problem but... what if there were a platform that could be used by small taxi firms and independents to offer rides. It would be to Uber what Fediverse is to Twitter.
