something i notice about a lot of people is that they’re willing to do something that’s technically 10x more complicated, all because they’re not willing to learn 1 thing
like, tell a windows user to make a .bat file and they’ll go “oh no that sounds complicated. i’m just gonna go through the menu system, scan through all the options i have, and then do what i want that way :)”
because they don’t want to open a notepad, type in a few words, and bam they got everything going in a much easier and simpler way
because they don’t understand what a “.bat” is, it sounds like ancient wizardry only the most technical users can understand. *when it’s just a fucking text file.*

on the one hand, streaming games is definitely something not easy since you have a lot to juggle
on the other hand, that also means the person playing the game misses the neon flashing sign telling the player "PRESS THIS BUTTON TO ADVANCE THE LEVEL", and they sit back and go "what the fuck do i do here chat"
