Why bitcoin is spiritually profound
Recently I received my very first peer to peer bitcoin transfer and the feeling upon seeing the notification and the satoshis in my wallet, was happiness. There was something special about knowing that the payment was not intermediated and somehow it felt like a gift or a thank you, translated into or by the satoshis. The knowledge that no governing entity is needed for trillions upon trillions of similar transactions to occur seamlessly and securely, contributes to an undeniable feeling that this is world-changing, it signals something completely new for humanity on both a small and global scale. Bitcoin is helping each and everyone of us to affirm sovereignty and thus quietly, peacefully a revolution is happening. The beauty of how this revolution is unfolding and also the reason why it is so powerful, is that bitcoin is not involved in a fight, it simply offers another way and the freedom to choose

So many human interactions are intermediated by money and the constant need to be 'productive'. The idea of being productive is fine, but in a system where value creation is funnelled through a currency being devalued, so much productive and creative energy is being wasted and not only that, most people's imperative becomes 'I need to make money'. Fortunately there are signs and evidence of this changing and the world is healing.
Even though I'm all for innovation and technology, I think there has never been a better time to be involved in sustainable farming, permaculture and natural construction (rammed earth for example). These are some of the most valuable contributions to society especially in this day and age.
I recently discovered a movement called #solarpunk thanks to @nprofile…5kd8 and @nprofile…pmhl , very keen to explore this more

The beautiful thing about #bitcoin is it puts people on a path towards not thinking about money, for good. I believe that's the direction humanity is going in - money becomes very uninteresting and becomes just a helpful tool working in the background
